  20. May be you should try something like probescsi or scsiutil on Aminet. 
  21. Both of these would tell you exactly what your device is.  ie Is it a
  22. write once device or a removeable Direct Access Device (ie HD) ?
  23. You would need some filesystem for a write once device.  RDPrep is another
  24. program you can try for HD RDB setup.
